Newcastle-under-Lyme College (NULC) is proud to announce that Joint Head Coach of the MMU/NULC Football Academy; Nigel Deeley, will be travelling with the England U17 football team to the 2011 FIFA Mexico World Cup.
The tournament starts on the 18 June 2011 with the Cup Final on the 10 July 2011. Nigel will be working under Head Coach John Peacock and Assistant Coach Kenny Swain working on scouting, vetting and as a support coach. There are 6 groups in the group stage with England in Group C along side Uruguay , Canada and Rwanda
Alongside his role as Joint Youth Coach for the MMU/NULC Football Academy , Nigel also works for the Football Association as a Talent ID scout for the North West
