Yesterday saw the return of British Colleges Sport fixtures for 2012-13, and it proved to be a good start for TEAM:NULC. Men’s Football were the flag bearers yesterday as ladies football, rugby, netball and men’s basketball fixtures start over the next 2 weeks. Three out of four teams managed a win yesterday which is hopefully a good omen for the coming year. The Midland Floodlit squad eased their way into the next round of the FA Youth Cup which is a great achievement as it’s the furthest that we have ever reached in that competition.

Performance of the week
The performance of the week has to go to the Men’s Performance 2 squad, and their coach Steve Sumnal. Our Lady & St Chad is always a hard place to visit and to take a new squad away and come home with a 5-0 victory is a great achievement. Well done to all the lads and the coach, Steve Sumnal.
