Newcastle-under-Lyme College First Team Footballers Progress to Second Qualifying Round of FA Youth Cup
Newcastle-under-Lyme College (NULC) in partnership with Newcastle Town FC, first team football squad have progressed to the second qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup with a 3 – 2 victory away at Stratford Town.
Going in at the interval two goals to nil down things were not looking good but two goals from former Stoke City player and first year sport student Tom Conlon and one from former Port Vale player and second year sport student Jordan Cole ensured that the squad progressed to the next round where they have been drawn away against Redditch.
