A
group of 15 Newcastle-under-Lyme College (NULC) visited Loughborough University
as part of a Sports Science Support Day.
The
Elite Sports Performance Programme (ESPP) students went along to the Sports
Science Activity day on Friday 6 November to take part in a day which was
organised to help them with their Sports Science studies.
All
the students are currently part of the College’s Elite Sports Performance
Programme (ESPP). The ESPP was created as part of the Academy of Sport at NULC to allow
talented sportspeople to continue their academic studies, while training and
competing at the highest level.
As
part of the day the students took part in a number of activities including
Strength and Conditioning and a fitness testing.
