Performance of the
week for this week’s sports fixtures is the rugby team, travelling to St Joseph’s
6th Form College in what could be described as a derby type fixture,
with both teams looking to get their first win of the campaign.
TEAM: NULC came
out the convincing winners with a score of 31-5. Coach Steve Teasdale, hints
that this could be the strongest Rugby squad the college has ever seen and is
expecting big things from them this season.
The team
hope to continue their good form and take it into next week’s fixtures which will
see them take on Birmingham Metropolitan College at home, bringing with them
another tough test for TEAM: NULC.
